Good to know.
How much can a gift card be?
Any whole amount from CA$25 to CA$2,000. CA$100 covers a typical airport run inside Ottawa; CA$250 an evening by the hour; CA$500 the road to Montréal or Toronto.
How is it delivered?
As a code, CC-XXXXX-XXXXX, shown on this page the moment the payment goes through and emailed to you with your receipt. Give us the recipient's email and we send them the gift too, with your note. Or keep the code and hand it over however you like.
Does it expire?
No. A Crown & Coach gift card never expires and carries no fees, and whatever is not spent on one Journey stays on the card for the next.
How does the recipient use it?
They book at concierge.crownandcoach.com/book and enter the code in the promotion or gift card box on the payment page. It pays what it can of the total; if the Journey costs more, the card on file covers the rest. Or they call the office with the code and we apply it to a booking made by phone.
Is there HST on a gift card?
No. HST is charged on the Journey the card pays for, like any other booking. A 15% gratuity for the chauffeur is added to every Journey as well, and a gift card does not pay that part.
Can it be refunded or cashed out?
A gift card is not redeemable for cash and is not refunded once bought. If a Journey paid with a gift card is cancelled under our cancellation policy, the office puts the gift money back on the card.
